How do you react when a customer claims your service unacceptable?

No matter how much you focus on providing exceptional service to your customers, it's insanely hard to avoid criticism or complaints about your product/service.

But every customer interaction, even if it starts off as a problem, is an opportunity. How do you handle complaints today?
